Anita J. Valdes partners with Millward Brown’s top-tier global clients in North America to develop and build great brands. With deep experience across a wide range of brands, she has worked both on the agency side at Ogilvy and, for the last seven years, in Millward Brown’s North America business.
As an Executive Vice President with a strong client facing focus, Anita thrives on developing lasting relationships with Millward Brown’s largest clients. She also has an innate understanding of the pressures that CMO’s and CEO’s are facing on a daily basis, and is extremely adept at navigating the dynamics of a business made up of multiple senior stakeholders.
Anita joined Millward Brown in 2005, bringing with her 15 years of marketing and advertising experience. She began her career at Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor in 1990, and later became a Senior Partner, Worldwide Management Supervisor at Ogilvy, and a member of their Global Brand Council. Anita’s experience agency side has been primarily focused on developing global brand strategies and campaigns, many of which have spanned 50+ countries.
She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, and holds an M.B.A. in International Business from The American University in Washington D.C.
Anita lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, and spends most of her time outside of work enjoying family life, as she and her husband try to keep up with two energetic boys.
